Call for Art - Dick Blick

Call for Food-themed Art

Call for Artists!

For participation email: Staara@Staara.com
You are invited to participate in the
Southern Shore Art Association's May Exhibit

"ART IN GOOD TASTE"
An Exhibition of "Food” as Subject
Artists have used food, the sustainable and the succulent, as artistic inspiration for hundreds of years. Whether a painting of a field of waving wheat, a cluster of ripe cherries, a vegetable garden, pastries in a silver tray, a bowl of Cheerios or a baby nursing, food as subject is enduring and appealing. A metal sculpture of ears of corn, an elegant pear of glass, ceramic pasta on a fired plate or a whimsical photograph of a family dinner, it’s all a candidate for an original, one-of-a-kind submission on the theme. Check out your own artistic menu!
May 2 – June 1, 2014
