PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT INTERN:


Product Development Internship – Various Teams

We are looking for candidates interested in pursuing a career in the product development field who are seeking hands-on experience.  The Product Development Intern will be responsible for assisting Product Development teams with concepting new products and preparing those concepts for presentation to the company.  Ideal candidates should possess strong traditional artistic and illustration skills, as well as demonstrated experience using Adobe Photoshop. This is a full-time, paid internship.

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting product development managers in concepting and developing product series
  • Preparing product for presentation to the company
  • Mock-ups, sculpture critiques, photo manipulation, and rough concept drawings
  • Research and other administrative project management tasks
 
Required Skills:  

  • BA, BFA, MA, or MFA,  in progress or completed with a major in Art, Fine Art, Illustration, or Fashion Design, or another art-related field is required
  • Experience in a clerical and/or art/craft environment is a major plus
  • Must possess excellent organizational, project management, and communication skills – both verbal and written
  • Must be detailed-oriented
  • Knowledge of MAC/PC including MS Office and Adobe Photo Shop is required; familiarity with Illustrator and/or databases (such as File Maker Pro) is helpful
