Job Description

Responsible for using computer software to assist with the creation of electronic versions of Eataly company materials to be used in online and print media and in-store displays. The Graphics Associate will help to define the marketing, electronic and print needs of Eataly and will create and execute design strategies to fulfill those needs.  Alongside the Graphic Design team, he or she will be responsible for assisting with the design creation of Eataly’s online and social media presence.  He or she will work as an integrated member of our Marketing, Education and Events and Public Relations teams to help with promoting Eataly and its products and services.
 
As an ambassador of Eataly, the Graphics Associate is responsible for helping to create and maintain quality and healthy experiences for each guest that comes to Eataly. Eataly ambassadors are expected to actively engage with guests and spend quality time with each customer.
 
Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Creates electronic versions of Eataly company materials to be used in online and print media and in-store displays as needed.
  • Identifies Eataly’s electronic and print graphic design needs and executes design strategies to fulfill those needs.
  • Creates in-store signage to support the store and its products and services.
  • Helps to furnish all signage for in-store events, photo shoots and tours.
  • Assists in managing the creation of Eataly’s online and social media presence to help acquire more advanced recognition in the marketplace.
  • Works alongside the Education and Events and Public Relations team to creatively promote Eataly and its products and services online and in-store.
  • Adheres to all company and department procedures, policies, expectations and quality standards.
 
 

Skills & Requirements

  • At least 1 year of progressively more responsible Graphic Design experience is required.  Must have advanced computer and graphic design knowledge. Website programming and coding experience is a plus.  Must have a strong, professional writing ability.  Must have the ability to communicate with peers and all levels of management, and a strong sense of multi-tasking and organization.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Graphic Design or related field is preferred.  
  • Will be expected to be mobile and travel as needed to conduct due diligence.  May be standing for long periods of time.  May also be stationary and seated for long periods of time.  May need to lift materials and displays weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • High mental effort needed.  Ability to communicate and integrate role with the members of the Public Relations and Education and Events teams.  Ability to effectively communicate with upper management.
  • Reports to the Director of Graphics.
