Job Summary
Perform diversified duties in the preparation of professional graphic illustrations.

Job Responsibilities
  • Perform diversified duties in the preparation of professional graphic illustrations. Produces computer generated illustrations and hand drawn artwork for digital marketing
  • Create illustrations and calligraphy from sketches, photographs, hardware, and oral/written descriptions that meet quality, technical accuracy, format, production standards, specifications, and customer requirements.
  • Participates and contributes to layout and design of assigned work.
  • Interacts with internal clients, ascertaining project requirements and specifications.
  • Creates graphic art using Adobe Creative Suite – should be expert-level user.
  • May participate in customer validation/verification reviews.
  • May provide direction and guidance to less experienced staff.
  • May train and perform quality control functions for other employees.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree and at least 2 years of experience in the creative development field OR a High School Diploma / GED and at least 5 years of experience in the creative development field.
  • At least 3 year of experience in graphic design and/or illustration.
  • Knowledge of graphic design, photography, and computers
  • Experience with a variety of graphic art techniques including illustration tools and devices
  • Knowledge of desktop publishing/graphic illustration principles, practices and concepts
  • Experience with design software applications, such as Adobe Illustrator and Adobe PhotoShop.
  • Experience managing projects in a deadline driven environment.
  • Experience collaborating with internal / external resources to develop strategies that meet department goals within budget and established timelines.
  • Experience identifying operational issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience establishing and maintaining relationships with members of a creative team, such as designers, writers and managers.
  • Knowledge of web technologies and creative research techniques
