RIPTapparel.com is an innovative and one-of-a-kind apparel site that offers daily sales of the coolest Pop-Culture designs in clothing and accessories. Since starting in 2009, we have had a passion for all things music, comic, cartoon and movies...and so do our customers! RIPT Apparel was featured on the 2014 Inc. 500 list because of our phenomenal following of artists and customers. We are looking to add some additional talent to our creative artist team. We are accepting applications for this position and looking for candidates already in the Chicago area, or those looking to relocate.
Compensation
This is a full-time salaried position. Salary compensation will be dependent on experience and a portfolio review.

Tasks and expectations
- Create fully-realized illustrative designs to be featured on t-shirts and other products geared towards the screen-printing process
- Create multiple sketches and iterations of concepts leading to final illustrations
- Participate in creative meetings and provide process work for review
- Ability to take creative direction and translate it into visual composition
- Willingness to immerse oneself in new, old, and relevant pop-culture fandoms
- Participate in fandom events potentially requiring travel
Requirements
- Aptitude in recent iterations of Adobe's Creative Suite, especially Photoshop
- Ability to create in the digital medium
- Strong sense of typography, design, and composition
- Strong illustration skills
- Ability to work in a team as well as independently
- Able to meet weekly and daily deadlines
- A love for all things pop-culture

Art Instructors Wanted - Bottle and Bottega Homewood
Are you an artist looking for a part-time job? Do you love hosting
parties and meeting new people? Bottle & Bottega could have the
perfect position for you!
Bottle & Bottega is looking for artists to instruct their work and the work of other artists at our public, private, corporate, kids and fundraising events. Events are held at our Homewood studio location and/or a variety of venues (bars, restaurants, event spaces, even people's homes) throughout the south/southwest suburbs.
B&B guests typically paint a 16x20 acrylic painting (other art forms as well) at our 2--3-hour events as they sip wine, beer or cocktails. Visit our Facebook page to see photos and get a better idea of what we do: www.facebook.com/bottleandbottega.
Our events typically take place weekdays from 6:00 -- 9:00pm and at varying times on weekends.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
• An excellent artist with an engaging personality. Our events are social and fun, so you must be comfortable speaking in front of a crowd and have an outgoing personality.
• Individuals who are passionate and enthusiastic about art and able to teach people of all ages and skill levels.
• Must be punctual, organized and professional.
• Experience with acrylic painting a plus.
• Having your own car is a plus.
• MUST be available most nights from 5:30--9:30pm and have availability during the weekends.

years, needs art instructors and assistant teachers for summer 2016 and
