Gallery 1070 on Granville,
in Chicago, is looking for artists for their February Show. The new gallery is
owned and operated by Edgewater Artists in Motion. The same organization that
puts on the Edgewater Arts Festival every September. We are located at the
corner of Granville and Winthrop.
We are looking for artists of all
ages and experience who would be interested in showing some of their work in
our upcoming February show? We're in a very narrow time frame and need to move
quickly.
We will be loading in January
26-27. Opening February 2.
There will be a small Valentines
gift show included at one end of the gallery, but this is not necessarily a
themed show. If you have any works of a romantic or humorous nature, that would
be great. It is not a qualification.
A variety of media types will be
accepted. Paintings, photography, sculpture and prints. Anything on paper must
be framed. Paintings on canvas should have finished edges
There is a $30 hanging fee and the
gallery takes a 30% commission on all work sold.
