5/31/2012FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASECALL TO ARTISTSNorthbrook Public Library Announces Call to Artists for 10th Annual Juried Art Show Application Deadline – May 31, 2012The Northbrook Public Library announces a call for entries for its 10th annual international juried art show held October 12 through November 30, 2012. Artists 18 years and older, working in all 2-D and 3-D art media, are invited to submit digital entries. The exhibition is limited to original artwork created within two years of the entry date. Artwork must be viewable for all ages. Artists should consider the theme, “Journeys”. With ten years behind us, we grow both nostalgic for the journeys we’ve been on and full of anticipation for what lies ahead. We look for art that is a sign post providing guidance for a unique place and time on our travels. Prizes include a $2,000 purchase prize as well as numerous other prizes. Entry fee is $35 for up to three submissions.
