The Team:
At Morningstar, we believe design enhances a company`s image, products,
and bottom line. Effective design is a core strength at Morningstar,
because putting investors needs first means delivering financial
information in a form that they can understand and use. Designers at
Morningstar specialize in making complex financial information easy to
understand through the use of meticulous typography, grid systems, best
practices in usability, and intelligent visualizations of data.
The Role: Design Interns will work closely with staff
designers, product managers, copywriters, programmers, website builders,
and other internal groups to develop design solutions for print and web
communications. Our designers are involved in all stages of the
development process, from product and marketing strategy to
conceptualization, design, and production. Morningstar Design

(20-25 hours per week during the school year) and/or during the summer
