Bridgeport Art Center announces a call for entries to a juried art competition that will take place in the newly refurbished art gallery in a 100-year old historic building located in Bridgeport, 5 miles south of downtown Chicago.
The Annual Art Competition was created to showcase the exceptional talents and abilities of Bridgeport and Chicago area artists.
Prizes:

$3,000 in prizes will be awarded by two distinguished jurors, Marva Jolly and Thomas McCormick, including a $1,000 best of show award.
One work will be awarded $500 based on popular balloting during the opening reception.
Three artists will be selected for an exhibition at Bridgeport Art Center in 2013.
