Freelance Concept Artist / Character Illustrator

This is an onsite freelance position lasting up to two weeks. There is the possibility of full-time employment following the assignment. You must be able to work regular business hours on-site in Downtown Chicago (Merchandise Mart) or you will not be considered. Please don't apply unless you can meet these requirements.

Job Summary:
Industry’s leading global product-based marketing agency is recruiting a talented character illustrator/ designer who has creative flair and a passion for design. Candidate must have attention to detail and can produce stunning illustrations & renders!

Candidate must have minimum 2 years experience in creative industry and be able to work onsite from 9am to 5pm M-F for the next two weeks.

Skills Requirement:
• Talented and fast at sketching. Ability to visually express ideas and character concepts clearly and quickly.
• Must be an exceptional illustrator and possess rendering skills.
• Proficient in Illustrator, Photoshop, Indesign.
• Experience with premium items, toys, and kid-themed work a plus.
• Ability to handle a high volume of work at times, while maintaining quality and attention to detail.
• Strong organizational, time management and prioritizing skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects to meet tight deadlines.
