TOMY International, Inc. a leading designer, producer and marketer of innovative, high quality toys, collectible and infant care products has a full time opening for a Jr. Graphic Design Managerlocated in Oak Brook, IL. 

JOB TITLE:JR Graphic Design Manager

REPORTS TO:SR Graphic Design Manager

DEPARTMENT: Marcom/Packaging

EDUCATION:Degree in Graphic Design with experience in print or packaging,

or equivalent job-related experience

EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 3 years of experience

SKILLS REQUIRED:

·         Illustrator, Photoshop InDesign experience

·         Rhino, Keyshot, or 3D rendering program knowledge

·         Keynote, Powerpoint and Office Suiteknowledge

·         Photography and image processing experience

·         Dieline and package production experience

·         Manufacturing experience and partnering with overseas teams a plus

·         Mock up and sample production skills

·         Strong conceptual thinking

·         Concept generation capabilities

·         Ability to articulate insight driven design solutions

·         Ability to identify and share trends and new technologies

·         Ability and knowledge to bring aconcept from sketch to production

·         Ability to autonomously interact with a cross-functional team, managing a positive relationship

·         Ability to manage multiple projects

·         Strong communication and follow through

·         Strong presentation skills

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position is for digital production designer with the ability to work on a cross functional design services team over a range of licensed products. This person will work to generate and implement graphics and designs for web, email and social media.

·         Generate and present new concepts

·         React to feedback on concepts

·         Createand implement materials for package, collateral, web and social media

·         Managing development of multi sku line of packaging

·         Image processing

·         Graphic  generation

·         Manage art, design, and electronics assets through production

·         Participate autonomously in necessary conversations with graphics team to generate or utilize existing assets

·         Maintain an updated expert knowledge base in

·         Digital file organization skills

·         Complete the development of design projects on time, with proper documentation
