Title: Arts and Culture Intern
Requirements: Education experience with
elementary-aged children; Knowledge of and experience with diverse art forms;
Ability to communicate with and lead groups of people;
Documentation/photography experience; Availability on Monday or Tuesday
afternoons; Demonstrated skills in organization, creativity, flexibility,
self-direction, imagination and patience.
Description of Tasks:
The interns’
primary responsibility will be working with Arts and Culture staff researching,
implementing and documenting Kraft Artabounds Studio family programs,
which serve our general visitors. Interns will work closely with Arts and
Culture staff to develop, prepare and lead art activities for family workshops.
Interns assist in keeping the studio organized and preparing supplies for
workshops. Interns record attendance and assist Arts Learning staff in record
keeping. Additional responsibilities will be determined by intern’s experience
and may include planning and facilitating arts based special events, off-site
programming or increased responsibility in documentation of programs and
cataloguing of artwork.
