Description

As a Creative Technologist (CT), Interactive Motion Designer Intern, you will help breathe life into digital concepts, crafting visually stunning interactive experiences.  You will bring a touch of motion design magic and animated polish to a variety of engaging applications and visualisations. From 3 inch mobile screens to 30 foot digital billboards, you will help ensure the production of high quality visual content that will always captivate an audience at every opportunity. You will work alongside CT Interactive Developers to infuse rich motion graphics with interaction and explore new ways of leveraging technology to elevate the creative vision.

Skills and Experience

·       Deeply passionate about creating beautiful and effective work
·       Excels at translating static compositions into motion design and graphical user interfaces, with superior attention to detail and finish
·       Knows how to combine graphics, imagery, typography, video and audio in a seamless manner
·       Possesses the curiosity to explore new forms of technology, tools and methods that enable interactive expression
·       Familiar with Adobe Creative Suite tools, workflow and productivity
·       Understands how to craft Rich Media Animations using Adobe Flash
·       Creates motion graphic video productions using Adobe AfterEffects or similar
·       Has an eye for the aesthetics of Visual Design, Graphical User Interfaces, Heads Up Displays and futuristic Information Systems
·       Capable of Modelling, Texturing, Lighting and Rendering in 3DStudioMax or similar
·       Enthusiastic about Game Design, including Gameplay concepts and theory, level design and in-game sprite design
·       Loves Character Design, Illustration and Animation
·       Understands the challenges and considerations when producing real-time, in-game, low-poly 3D environments
·       Thinkers with programmatic and scripted animation and interactive graphics
·       Exposure to any of the following technologies: Adobe Flash, ActionScript, PixelBender, Unity3D, iOS, Processing, OpenFrameworks, Silverlight, HTML5 + CSS3, JavaScript


Education and Experience
·       College / University Degree in Media, Animation, Visual Design, Interactive Design, Computer Science, Computer Visualization or similar subjects (or equivalent work experience)
