JOB OVERVIEW:

Package/Graphic Designer Snapshot

The ideal candidate should have 5+ years of professionalexperience working in package design preferably in the fragrance and beautycategory. Candidate must be able to follow a brief, create on-strategy package designs and develop innovative collateral solutions that extend beyond packaging. Software knowledge should include:  Illustrator, Photoshop,InDesign with 3D rendering a plus. Must be able to work independently as well as collaboratively under tight time frames while maintaining a high degree of attention to detail. Candidate must have experience taking a project from concept to completion.

    *Generate packaging graphics from initial concept presentation to producing final files that follow printer specification properly.
    *Work collaboratively with the Senior Designer to solve primary and secondary package design challenges by developing compelling solutions that fit the initial design brief.
    *Extend package designs into GWPs, Gift Sets, Point of Purchase displays, and collateral material.
    *Work with Marketing, Product Development and Sourcing departments to execute on the designed product specifications according to vendor capabilities, budget and client vision.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Skill Sets:

    *Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
    *Proven experience in meeting project deadlines and using project management software.
    *Background in managing suppliers, printers, deco services and quotes pertaining to graphics
    *Highly proficient in Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign and is knowledgeable with the printing process
