As a Design Intern you will have the opportunity to:

• Work with design team to assist with preparation of design materials for prototypes, meetings and presentations
• Assist image team in researching viable art/photo/styles.
• Participate in the design conceptual processes for covers, screens and interior print page layouts
• Participate in the conceptual design processes for digital product to include user interface, storyboard development/functionality
• Hands on execution of production tasks such as composition, Photoshop manipulation/effects, preparation of final files
• Participate in the execution of designs for print and digital product
• Evaluate illustrations, layout/ designs for visual effectiveness and production compatibility
• Adhere to schedule for assignments

The Design Intern will be working on a Spanish Reading program

 

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an accredited College or University
• Bi-Lingual Spanish/English required
• Must be a Design or related major
• Proficient in Photoshop, InDesign5.5 (and/or Muse) and Illustrator
• Proficiency in PowerPoint & Flash and HTML5
• Organized and ability to multi task.
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work as a team member in a fast-paced environment
