Possible Majors:
Art Education
Education-general
Early Learning Education
Museum Education
Fine Art and/or Theater- Studio majors with education backgrounds/experiences.
Requirements:
Must have education experience from public education, daycare, camp, or other classroom settings.
Must have some form of art background, visual-arts and/or theater, and be comfortable teaching studio art to a wide range of visitors and guests (including youth and their caregivers).
Must have great communication skills and have an approachable demeanor.
Must feel comfortable in a fast pace work environment, and be aware of surroundings at all time.
Must have an open-mind and be comfortable around a wider range of people
Description of Projects &Tasks:
Chicago Shakespeare Theater Partnership- Program-Lead @CST
o Assist Arts and Culture Program manager with running arts activity at CST.
Artabounds Studio Family Workshop Educator
o Facilitate Family Workshop lessons one day a week, and assist in maintenance of studio space.
General program maintenance, documentation, and research (when-needed).
Hours: Minimum 200 hours, 15-20 hours per week – 3 month commitment
Schedule: Wednesday through Friday 10:00 am to 5:00 pm
