Sign Designer / Graphic Designer

Job Description:
Full time entry level employment opportunity for a talented individual to use their abilities to design innovative signs and create custom signage solutions. Position will include sign design, production, application, installation and light clerical work. We are in need of a motivated individual with a graphic design background (proficiency in Adobe Illustrator required) who would like to learn the sign industry.

A typical day includes working a combination of with computer programs to design signage as needed, operating digital printers, preparing vinyl graphics including weeding masking, installation of vinyl graphics on vehicles, signs, etc.

Position Description:
* Contact and discuss project requirements with customers
* Design a custom product the exceeds the customers expectations
* Produce the required sign to meet specifications
* Take job from conception to final completion

Required Duties:
* Design innovative signs to exceed customer's expectations
* Be able to work individually as well as in a team environment
* Light clerical work including filing, invoicing, working with QuickBooks

Requirements:
* Willingness to want to work and want to learn more about the sign industry to expand your career
* Proficiency with Adobe creative Suite - specifically Adobe Illustrator
* Prior experience in a sign shop is a plus

Compensation:
* Starting hourly pay: $15-$18 an hour
